This remedial occurred while Michael was project tenderer, planner, engineer, over viewer and involved a complex remedial to the soffit of two large silos 35 meters above ground level. Different subcontractors were employed to provide hydro blasting, concrete testing, rope access, scaffolding, Shotpatch and coatings. The big factor here was that silo roof was at the edge of its design limit due to the large loss of tensile reinforcement and soffit concrete. The main contractor for the new malting plant was Built Environs (Value 100 million)
